Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, born on October 17, 1974, is the 51st Ooni of Ife, a highly revered traditional ruler and spiritual leader of the Yoruba people. Born into the Giesi Ruling House in Ile-Ife, Nigeria, he ascended the throne on December 7, 2015. He is recognized as a visionary leader and astute entrepreneur, known for his commitment to youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and community development.
Ooni Ogunwusi's achievements include establishing the Ife Grand Resort, empowering over 20,000 widows, reconstructing the ancient Palace of Ile-Oduduwa, and promoting peace among traditional rulers. He has initiated various projects to boost local agriculture, improve energy supply, and foster tourism in Ile-Ife. He is also a Director at various banks and the founder of Gran Imperio Group, a conglomerate involved in real estate, manufacturing, and tourism.
